Synopsis
Donuts and Dragons is an animated short film by Tomi Pihlainen. The short tells about an addicted computer game player who play the game night and day. He never sleeps, he eats donuts, he drinks caffeine and he tries to gain as much as possible experience points to his poor little game character. The player is called Bert. Bert is just fine with an approach to this way of life. Everything is fine as long as experience points are getting higher and higher. However, the game character, the small little dragon called Drabble, is totally fed up with the situation where HE needs to do all the hard work without any satisfaction. Drabble is so tired to those stupid and from his point of view useless experience points that he will go to strike.

The first concept art sketch of Bert - an addicted computer game player. Actually the sketch contains a picture of Daniel Lambert. D. Lambert was about 309 kg weighted prison guard and lived in 1800 century. There were no computers in his time but the picture of him is something like night'n'day donut eater would look like.
